James Guy, who was born in Bury and went to school in Timperley, won the 4x200 metres freestyle relay, alongside teammates Tom Dean, Matthew Richards and Duncan Scott.
It was Guy who got the team into the lead after a solid, yet unspectacular, start by double Olympic champion Dean. Richards and Scott then closed the show in style.
