Dramatic moment soldier collapses on steps of St Paul's at Queen's Jubilee service

A soldier was seen collapsing on the steps outside of St Paul's Cathedral ahead of the service of thanksgiving for the Queen.

The incident shortly happened just before the royals arrived at the service this morning. The Royal Air Force soldier did not seem to be severely injured and was helped onto his feet by nearby colleagues, the Mirror reports.

As politicians began arriving at St Paul's for the service, video footage captured the soldier collapsing right before foreign secretary Liz Truss walked up the steps and entered the church.

As the soldier was helped to his feet, crowds began to gather around to watch the string of famous faces enter the cathedral.
