David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English former professional footballer, the current president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Milan, LA Galaxy, Paris Saint-Germain and the England national team, for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. He is the first English player to win league titles in four countries: England, Spain, the United States and France. He retired in May 2013 after a 20-year career, during which he won 19 major trophies.

Dramatic blaze sees residents evacuated after fire rips through Ayr flats

dailyrecord.co.ukResidents have been evacuated from their homes today after a fire took hold of a flat in Ayr.The blaze ripped through what appears to be the doorway at the back entrance of a block of flats in Argyle Park in the town's Wallacetown area this afternoon.One neighbour has told how more than a dozen residents rushed out of the burning building before firefighters arrived at the scene around 1.50pm.Other flats in the street have been evacuated due to the level of thick smoke in the air.
A video sent into Ayrshire Live by a neighbour shows flames bursting out from either side of the entrance as alarms go off in the background.
