Drake has been granted a three-year restraining order against a woman who threatened to ‘invade’ his home. The rapper, 35, applied for a restraining order against US woman Mesha Collins after she harassed him and threatened to break into his property.Legal documents show that last month Collins threatened to ‘invade (Drake’s) home again’ if he did not buy her ‘a brand new house and car’ for her birthday.Collins had also reportedly threatened both him and his young son Adonis, four, who he shares with artist Sophie Brussaux.Lawyers for Drake argued that Collins had shown signs of behaviour ‘consistent’ with her ‘prior pattern’ of using civil litigation and proceedings to get access to the rapper.According to documents obtained by the PA news agency, Collins was given ‘timely and proper notice’ of the hearing but failed to appear.Drake, real name Aubrey Graham was also not present, but was represented virtually by lawyers Stanton Lawrence Stein and Ashley Yeargan.A US judge granted the order on Tuesday, which orders Collins to stay at least 100 yards from the God’s Plan rapper at all times. It is due to expire on April 11 2025.The court case comes after a woman was arrested in Toronto last year for attempting to break into the rapper’s home.Police were called to the In My Feelings hitmaker’s property in May 2021, where the woman was taken into custody. She was apprehended as she tried to gain entry into Drake’s home, with the artist believed to have been in the property at the time.Nobody was injured in the incident, and police were forced to deny rumours at the time that the woman was armed with a knife and had hit one of Drake’s security guards with a pipe. Most recently, Drake has been busy teasing fans about new music,.
