Dr Ranj Singh, who worked on This Morning with Phillip Schofield, has encouraged people to be 'mindful' when commenting on the presenter because he is still human and 'not in an easy place'.Phillip left This Morning after reports emerged his friendship with co-host Holly Willoughby was on the rocks.

The 61-year-old later confessed to having an 'unwise, but not illegal' affair with a younger male colleague on set of This Morning and cut all ties with his talent management and ITV.At the time, Dr Ranj issued a statement and slammed ITV's 'toxic culture' online and claimed the 'issues with This Morning go far beyond Phillip'.Ranj, 44, worked alongside Holly, 42, and Phillip, on This Morning after joining in 2016 but later departed the show after lodging a formal complaint.Speaking to MailOnline regarding the scandal, Ranj encouraged others to be 'mindful' with what they say about Phillip so things don't go 'too far'.

He told the publication: "I never agree with trolling ever – I don't think it's acceptable."I don't necessarily agree with what has happened with Phillip and what he has done, and as Carolyn McCall has said, it was inappropriate, but I think we have to careful when we are responding to people like that, that we don't go too far.He continued: "I agree it's not an easy place to be for him, and we have to be mindful of that.

He's still a human-being and has feelings and it's not an easy thing to be on the other side of that. I think we all need to all be a bit more mindful about how we interact with each other."Dr Ranj added to the publication that while his previous complaints to ITV were not about Phillip, he hasn't reached out to the star since his fall from grace.
