Dr Alex George announces break from work after hard year 'takes its toll'

The 30-year-old A&E medic, who shot to fame when he appeared on Love Island, was inundated with supportive messages after he explained that the year had 'taken it's toll'.
Sharing a candid update on social media, Alex revealed that he wanted to be honest with fans about the bad days and explained that he would be taking a full week off from Tuesday.
Alex, who also tragically lost his younger brother last year, went on to urge followers to be mindful of taking breaks and to celebrate such self-awareness. "It’s been a bit of an up and down week.
