She had shared the news that she is pregnant live on The One Show last month and admitted that her pregnancy had been a surprise.
In her snap, Alex sported a gorgeous pregnancy glow as she snapped a mirror selfie in what looked like her dressing room on set of the BBC One programme.
Her dress clung to her growing bump but skimmed over her bottom half thanks to its drop-waist design. It featured three-quarter length sleeves and she paired it with a pair of thick black tights.
