Dan Stevens left The One Show's hosts speechless as he made a savage dig about Boris Johnson. The Downton Abbey star appeared on the BBC chat show to discuss his new drama, Gaslit, which also stars Julia Roberts and Sean Penn.
The movie covers the 1970s Watergate Scandal, which ultimately led US President Nixon to resign. Dan plays one of the lawyers involved in the case and as he explained the plot of the show he took the opportunity to make a dig at the UK prime minister.

He then paused for a moment, before adding: "Oh I'm sorry that’s the intro to Boris Johnson.” Presenters Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas cringed, with Jermaine then turning his back to the camera and leaning over the sofa to hide his laughter as Alex sat wide eyed and speechless.
