Everton have reportedly joined the race to sign Manchester United outcast Donny van de Beek. With the January transfer window heading towards a close, the main focus for the Reds is outgoings and the Dutchman looks likely to be one of the names out the door at Old Trafford.
He has struggled for minutes since his move from Ajax but whilst the Toffees continue their search for a new manager, former Derby County and Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is said to have been offered the vacant position at Goodison Park.
Crystal Palace are also said to be interested in the midfielder as Patrick Vieira looks to strengthen the middle of the pitch for the South Londoners.
According to the Telegraph, the managerless Merseyside club have made Van de Beek the priority as the interviews for the hot seat continue between Lampard and Vitor Pereira.
