He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Donald, 76, took to social media platform Truth Social to pay tribute as he wrote: "I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City”.
He continued: "She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr, Ivanka, and Eric.
She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!” Ivana was born Ivana Marie Zelníčková and grew up under communist rule in the former Czechoslovakia.
