Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Per People, his posts referenced several reports from outlets like the Associated Press and CBS about how he could be facing criminal charges in the Stormy Daniels hush money case.
As we previously reported, the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has been investigating Trump for paying the adult film actress $130,000 in hush money to keep quiet about their affair before the 2016 presidential election, which is an illegal campaign contribution.
He has long denied the accusations and even shut down the claim that he had an affair with Stormy. However, his former attorney/personal fixer Michael Cohen, who was sentenced to three years in prison for his role in silencing Stormy, said Trump directed him to make the payments and then reimbursed him for it through the Trump Organization, which the company cited as legal expenses.
