Donald Trump is under arrest again, just two months after he was placed under arrest in New York. The former President of the United States was formally booked on Tuesday afternoon (June 13) at the federal courthouse in Miami, Fla. Keep reading to find out more… Trump is facing 37 criminal charges that have to do with an investigation into his retention of national security documents at his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.
Previously, prosecutors have said that Trump took over 300 classified documents to Mar-a-Lago after leaving the White House in January 2021, and close to 100 of those documents were seized during an FBI raid in August 2022.
So, what happens next? Trump will likely have his fingerprints taken, but he’s not expected to have a mugshot taken. Trump will have the opportunity to enter a plea and the judge will discuss pretrial release conditions, according to CNN. Trump‘s arrest in April was in relation to charges he is facing because of hush money payments that were paid to adult film star Stormy Daniels and another woman.
