Donald Glover‘s new Star Wars project Lando is going to be heading to a theater near you!

The 39-year-old actor is set to reprise the role of Lando Calrissian, which he first played in the 2018 movie Solo. While the project was initially being pitched as a Disney+ series, it has recently been upgraded to a movie. Read more about the Lando movie… Variety confirmed the news with Lucasfilm.

The outlet noted that Donald‘s brother and creative collaborator Stephen Glover also teased the possibility of making a movie during a recent podcast appearance.

It was announced that Donald had joined the project back in July when Haunted Mansion director Justin Simien exited.
