A dog has died following an incident involving two other dogs in Netherthird. Police were called following the incident which took place near to Craigens Road on Sunday morning, December 29, which saw one dog taken to the vets.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Sunday, December 29, we received reports of a dog attacked by two other dogs near Craigens Road, Cumnock on Sunday, December 29.
