BBC's hit series Inside Dubai, which follows the lives of the most glamorous locals in the Middle-Eastern coastal resort.The three-part programme premiered earlier this month, highlighting all sorts of wealthy people such as Dubai's richest teenager, whose wardrobe alone is worth a whopping £4 million.But in an interesting turn of events, the former Hollyoaks star took to Twitter after the first episode aired to slam the show's content.The 45-year-old said in view of his 166,000 followers he disagreed with some of the things displayed on the programme, prompting some fans to assume he would not be reprising his role if the Beeb commissioned a second series."Really enjoyed doing the VO for this.

Some viewers took issue with how the Beeb was said to have glorified the hefty amount of money spent on cars, clothes, and fancy gadgets.Others argued that though the show was entertaining, it had left them feeling unamused to see how the tens of thousands of millionaires in Dubai were spending their wealth in contrast to how other people are barely making end's meet.

Another user stressed that as the world continues to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic - leaving many people without jobs and a sustainable income - the show's premiere was a clear "example of sheer inequality in all its worst forms."Elsewhere, the user @KirbyS85 added: "Broke my heart seeing Hazel having to send money home for her family and not seeing her son and they just jump on a private jet. "I thought slavery was abolished."Will appeared to have caught wind of the backlash.
