Vanessa Anne Hudgens (born December 14, 1988) is an American actress and singer. After making her feature film debut in Thirteen (2003), Hudgens rose to fame portraying Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical film series (2006–2008), which brought her significant mainstream success.
The success of the first film led to Hudgens' acquiring a recording contract with Hollywood Records, with whom she released two studio albums, V (2006) and Identified (2008).

Butler has been a serious awards contender ever since Elvis first debuted back in June, and his transformation into the real-life rock star is exactly the kind of performance the Academy likes to recognize.
earlier this month, Butler explains that it was a friend (emphasis my own) who got the bug in his brain that he should play Elvis after hearing him sing a Christmas song by the legendary artist. “You’ve got to play Elvis,” the friend told him, once and then again a few weeks later.
By his own admission, Butler thought the whole thing was a longshot. But then Butler’s agent called with the news that an Elvis film was in the works.The story sounded familiar, because back in 2019, from that friend’s perspective.
