Doctors have been left shocked after a mum gave birth to a baby with two heads, three hands and two hearts. Shaheen Khan was told by medics she was expecting twins after falling pregnant in Ratlam, in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
However, the twins arrived conjoined due to a rare condition known as dicephalic parapagus - where two infants are joined by one torso - which went undetected before the birth.
It often results in stillbirth, however the baby defied odds and survived, with doctors stating on Tuesday that they are not planning surgery, the Mirror reports.
The miracle newborn has been taken to a hospital in the nearby city of Indore to be monitored by medics, while mum Shaheen remains in the district hospital in Ratlam.
