A mum who was diagnosed with a rare and terminal form of cancer is encouraging women to be vigilant about its lesser-known symptoms.

Sophie Casey, 28, received a diagnosis of stage 4B Ovarian cancer in October. After several visits to the doctors, a misdiagnosis, and trips to A&E, she was delivered the devastating news.

Since then, Sophie has been undergoing three months of chemotherapy and after her last session on December 27, it will be determined how long she is expected to live.

Mum to Henry, one, Sophie and her partner George Burrill are now raising awareness of the disease and raising funds to help them make memories as a family.
