Djo has shared a breezy new Fleetwood Mac-inspired single called ‘Potion’ – check it out below.Djo, the musical project of Stranger Things actor Joe Keery, will release his new album ‘The Crux’ on April 4 — you can pre-order it here.The latest preview of the record follows on from previous single releases ‘Basic Being Basic‘ and ‘Delete Ya.’‘Potion’, according to a press statement, finds Djo in Laurel Canyon. “‘Potion’ is like your favorite pair of blue jeans,” says Keery of the record. “I’d been working on Travis picking when I wrote this song, so it’s kind of like if Harry Nilsson and Lindsey Buckingham had a baby.”On the acoustic and falsetto-led track, Keery takes on the song’s vocals, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, drums, percussion and Mellotron.You can listen to the new song here:Back in February, Djo covered Haim’s single ‘Gasoline’ as part of a new radio session.The actor and musician visited Triple J to record a track for the station’s ‘Like A Version’ series.Djo and his live band opted for a laid-back, groovy cover of Haim’s track ‘Gasoline’, which appears on the LA trio’s third and latest album, 2020’s ‘Women In Music Pt.
