A disabled Oasis fan says he was left ‘stressed, anxious and unwell’ after being told he would not be able to take his carer to one of the band’s huge reunion gigs this summer.
Jonathan Kay, who has a rare neurological condition and is wheelchair bound, managed to secure a ticket for one of the Manchester band’s Heaton Park shows in July.
But he and his family have claimed that Ticketmaster then 'refused' to amend his order to one that would allow his carer to attend, despite the website indicating they could.
They say he bought his £419 ticket for the July 16 show as part of a resale on Ticketmaster after failing to secure one as part of general sale, which saw a huge rush for tickets and dynamic pricing introduced - adding he only bought his ticket after carefully consulting the accessibility page on the website.
