Dimitar Berbatov insists Manchester United deserve to be top of the Premier League but they will have to maintain their consistency if they are to stay there.

An impressive run of nine wins in their last 11 games has seen the Red Devils soar up the league. Their midweek win at Burnley sent them three points clear of Liverpool - their opponents this Sunday.

Berbatov believes United are top on merit and has challenged them to continue doing what has got them there when they travel to Anfield.
