Die-hard Kilmarnock FC fans sold out football strips in less than 20 minutes to raise money for charity.A collection of Killie's tops, including a limited edition Sports Division shirt and other memorabilia, were donated to a Salvation Army shop in the town centre.Store manager Ashley Aitken said she was delighted to receive the unique donations and decided to create a buzz in the town to sell them.Ashely advertised the club gear on social media and created a feature in the store window to attract buyers.

The tops sold out in less than 20 minutes and raised £180 for the charity in the process.Ashely said: "My wee shop does well, it certainly ticks over but the buzz and excitement these tops created meant that they were all gone within 20 minutes.

For the rest of the day my shop was a hub of activity. My Facebook page gained a lot more traction which is really important for us to help raising funds."The collection raised around £180 and hopefully gained us a few more customers but what stood out the most for me was the absolute love for Killie FC."The fans are something else and it's an amazingly positive community."
