Detectives have revealed their investigation into Lucy Letby is continuing as they probe other unexplained baby collapses during her nursing career.

After Letby, 33, was convicted of seven infant murders and attempting to murder six other babies, the senior detectives in charge of the investigation revealed the case remains open.

As part of the investigation, officers are reviewing 4,000 admissions of babies while Letby was on training placement at Liverpool Women’s Hospital in 2012 and 2015.
