Less than a year-and-a-half after its release in June 2023, the very popular online role-playing game “Diablo IV” is getting a new expansion pack that introduces new characters, locations and narratives to the lore of Sanctuary.
With a starting price of $39.99, “Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred” is available for download for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, as well as PC — beginning on Tuesday, Oct.
8. Since “Vessel of Hatred” is an add-on, you need to own a copy of “Diablo IV” to download. However, if you have access to the game via Xbox Game Pass, you still need to purchase the DLC (downloadable content), if you’d like to play.
