Diabetic man 'sick' of flat with 'black mould' caused by hole in the roof

A 60-year-old man with diabetes said he is living in a flat "riddled with damp" due to a hole in the roof of the nine-storey tower block he lives in.

Kevin Dunn has lived on the top floor of Boundary Court, in Hanley, for the past six years but said he is now "sick" of the dampness in his flat.

He said the "black mould" has spread from the kitchen to his bedroom and he needs to keep bleaching as it could otherwise complicate his diabetic condition, reports Stoke-on-Trent Live.

Kevin claimed many of his neighbours are experiencing the same issue yet the council has so far failed to act on it. "When the wind and rain blows from the south the windows leak so you have rivers running down your wall," he said. What do you think about this
