An investigation has been launched after a man died in a house fire in Tameside. The blaze broke out on Kipling Avenue in Droylsden at around 11.55pm last night (April 9).
Flames ripped through the terraced home as emergency crews raced to the street. Tragically, a man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Forensic officers were spotted going in and out of the badly-damaged house earlier today. A cordon remains in place on Kipling Avenue.
