The heartbroken mum of a young man stabbed to death in the street says she feels like she "failed" her son after identifying his body.
Sven Badzak, 22, was killed when he popped to the shops in Kilburn, north London on Saturday evening. He had gone to Waitrose and was waiting outside a bagel shop with a friend when the pair were attacked.
Aspiring lawyer Sven tragically died at the scene while his friend, 16, was taken to hospital following the violence. Two teenagers, aged 17 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of murder, Scotland Yard said.
Mum Jasna Badzak, 49, has now spoken out about the harrowing moment she had to go and identify her son. And she told MyLondon that she believes she "failed" - as she didn't protect Sven.
