Boy butchers hairdo while mum was on phone because he 'looked like Boris Johnson'

A mum was left in hysterics when her son butchered his hair with a pair of children's scissors after he decided he looked too much like Boris Johnson.

Melanie Henry, from Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland, left five-year-old son, Angus, to play while she took a work call. The 32-year-old returned to find he'd chopped off his blonde locks with a pair of children's scissors.

Melanie, a teacher, has been working from home as well as keeping an eye on Angus and his siblings, Struan, nine, and Piper, four.

After friends and family pointed out Angus' resemblance to the Prime Minister, the schoolboy decided to take matters into his own hands.
