Devastated family of dad killed in 'hit and run' pay tribute to man 'who never failed to make you smile'

direct to your inboxThe family of a Stockport man killed in a suspected hit and run in North Wales have told of their 'devastating loss'.Dad-of-one Stuart Farnell, 38, originally from Offerton, died in the incident on the A5025 in Anglesey on Friday night.Police received calls from members of the public shortly after 11pm reporting that a man was unresponsive by the roadside.Despite the best efforts of passers-by who stopped to assist, Mr Farnell was pronounced dead at the scene.A man has been arrested in connection with his death.In a statement released by North Wales Police Mr Farnell's family said: "Stuart was a much loved father, son and brother."His loss is devastating and has caused wounds that won't heal.
