manchestereveningnews.co.ukPolice have issued a CCTV image of man they want to identify after a fake cop scammed an elderly victim for tens of thousands of pounds.
Officers believe the individual, who is known to frequent Manchester city centre and The Trafford Centre., may be able to help their investigation into the incident.
The victim was preyed on by a fraudster who pulled off what officers describe as a "high value deception" which took place in Huddersfield in November this year.
Kirklees District CID who are investigating the case are also warning residents to be extremely mindful of deception frauds in which cold callers ask for their bank account details over the phone.
