Detectives have been granted more time to question a murder suspect after a man was found dead in a house in Rochdale. The 37-year-old man was arrested after emergency services were called to a 'disturbance' on Industry Road in the early hours of Monday morning (October 3).
Police tragically found a man's body inside a home. The suspect will now be quizzed for 36 more hours after detectives were granted an extension, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said.

A post-mortem has found that he died 'as a result of multiple injuries', police added. A cordon remains in place on Industry Street as investigations continue.
