Detectives are continuing to question a man on suspicion of murder after a 'wonderful' mum was stabbed to death in Bradford.
Kulsuma Akter, from Oldham, tragically died after being knifed in the Westgate area of Bradford on Saturday (April 6). The 27-year-old mum was pushing her baby in a pram down the street when she was attacked outside a shop.
Her baby escaped unharmed, West Yorkshire Police said. A 25-year-old man, also from Oldham, has been arrested on suspicion of her murder. He was arrested in the Aylesbury area in the early hours of yesterday morning (April 9). A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police confirmed he remains in custody this morning being quizzed by detectives.
