Despite pleas to lift Covid rules Spain keeps restrictions for Brits

Spain’s tourism industry is urging the country’s government to remove all entry requirements for UK visitors as the summer holiday season is underway.

It comes as France was the most recent country to remove all Covid rules for Brits last week. Only three EU and visa-free Schengen zone countries still have Covid measures in place for holiday makers coming from the UK.

These are Spain, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Currently travellers arriving from non-EU countries who are over the age of 12 must show a vaccination, recovery, or negative test certificate upon their arrival.

Spain does accept the UK Government’s Covid vaccine pass, WalesOnline reports.
