Desperate search for missing Scots schoolgirl not seen in more than 24 hours

A desperate search is underway to find a Scots teenager who has been missing for over 24hours. Ellen Brolly from Renfrew was last seen at 5.30pm on Wednesday, May 3.

Police believe she is in Paisley, Renfrew or Barrhead. The 14-year-old is described as 5ft 3 in height, slim build, long straight hair, light brown in colour, blue eyes and was last known to be wearing black Nike leggings, a Black hoody and black body warmer, black trainers.Police Scotland Renfrewshire & Inverclyde said: " We're appealing for the public's help as part of our efforts to trace 14-year-old Ellen Brolly, who has been reported missing. "Ellen has been missing from the Renfrew area since 1730 hours on Wednesday, 3rd May 2023 and is believed to be in the Paisley, Renfrew or Barrhead areas. "Ellen is 5ft 3 in height, slim build, long straight hair, light brown in colour, blue eyes and was last known to be wearing black Nike leggings, a Black hoody and black body warmer, black trainers. "Anyone who may have seen Ellen since this time, or who has any information which could be relevant is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 4678 of 03/05/2023."
