Desperate appeal to trace Scots pensioner who vanished while walking his dogs

Cops have launched an desperate appeal in an effort to trace a pensioner who vanished while walking his dogs this morning. Officers say "concerns are growing" for Ian Bonner, 69, after he was reported missing from Sanquhar, Dumfries and Galloway.

He last seen around 11.15am on Wednesday, November 30, heading towards Crawick to walk his dogs after leaving his home in Queens Crescent.

Ian is described as 5ft 9in tall, of medium build, balding with white hair. He was wearing a navy blue furry hat and a grey fleece jacket with a hood.Cops say he was with his dogs, a Jack Russell and a brown Staffordshire cross, when last seen.Sergeant Cameron Thomson said: “Concerns are growing for Ian’s welfare and we are asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to get in touch.”Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference number 1537 of Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
