EXCLUSIVE: Desean Terry (The Morning Show) and Nikkole Salter (playwright, In The Continuum) are partnering to adapt and executive produce Salter’s acclaimed play Lines in the Dust into a feature film under Terry’s Think Switch Entertainment banner.
Terry is also set to direct the feature. Loosely inspired by real-life cases, Lines in the Dust shines a light on the issue of school residency fraud against the backdrop of Newark, New Jersey.

The film will tell the story of a Black woman facing prosecution for this crime, highlighting the systemic inequities and challenges faced by marginalized communities in accessing quality education for their children.
