Dermot O'Leary shares tribute to 'lovely mate' Holly Willoughby

Dermot O'Leary gave a sweet shout out on Instagram to his This Morning co-star, Holly Willoughby, sweetly describing her as his "lovely mate".

Currently taking over hosting responsibilities on the ITV show, Dermot, 50, shared a heartwarming snap on Instagram, where the duo posed together, penning the caption: “Back on This Morning for another week with my lovely mate Holly.” In the picture, Dermot sported a cheerful smile, donning a dark polo shirt, while Holly looked radiant in a colourful polka dot dress with frilled sleeves.

Holly, 42, has been ploughing on with her commitment to the show after her former co-host Phillip Schofield quit the programme after more than 20 years last month.

It comes as This Morning returnee Gino D'Acampo made a subtle hint at the Phillip saga on This Morning earlier this week, much to the discomfort of presenters Dermot and Holly.
