Denise Welch is one of many celebrities who has shared their thoughts about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's controversial documentary.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released the first three episodes of their series last Thursday and three more will be shared on Netflix this week.On the day of its release, 64-year-old Denise hit out at those slamming the couple.She wrote: "The vile responses to the H & M documentary show that they are much better in the US and did the right thing for them."The nastiness directed towards them is terrifying."The Loose Women panellist went on to point out royal scandals that have occured over the years, insisting Harry stepping back is nowhere near as bad.Lottie Moss gets new 'lover' face tattoo on drunken nightDenise has been a supporter of the pair ever since they left the Royal Family in 2020.In the documentary, the couple discuss their reasoning behind the move as well as press intrusion, racism and their relationship.They currently live in America with their two children, Archie, three, and Lilibet, one.
Back in August, Denise backed Meghan after she claimed the N-word was used towards her children. Speaking on the Loose Women panel, she said: "I do seem to be in the minority, I think that Meghan Markle can do nothing right and hasn’t been able to since the beginning."To live in a world where she is denigrated so badly everyday, even when she was suffering incredibly mental health issues with a child, I don’t know how she survives sometimes."Her comments prompted her co-star Jane Moore to chime in: "You can’t say I want privacy but then she’s inviting the journalists into her life.""She wants privacy from unwanted attention," Denise responded, passionately.
