Deliveroo is looking for 15,000 new riders and drivers as demand surges

Deliveroo is on the hunt for 15,000 new riders by the end of the year as demand for its services rockets. Since the first lockdown came into force, the delivery firm has been expanding fast - signing up 11,500 new restaurants as well as launching or extending partnerships with major brands.

All that means more work for its riders - and now it's said it's looking for thousands and thousands more people to get involved - on top of the 15,000 recruited since the start of the pandemic.
