Dejan Lovren looked poised for a Liverpool exit last summer and has now been linked with a move at the end of the current campaign but the defender has dropped a hint that he might be staying at Anfield a little while longer.
The 30-year-old has found his first-team chances limited over the last two seasons after falling behind Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez.
AC Milan and Roma are among the clubs mooted as possible destinations for the Croatian centre-back, but it seems he is open to staying put at Anfield.
Lovren told the club's website: "It’s important to have a mix between really young players, the middle [age] players and the experienced players.
