Deep Sea Diver have announced details of a new album titled ‘Billboard Heart’ along with new North American tour dates. It is set to arrive on February 28 – visit here to pre-order/pre-save.It is set to include the previously released title track, as well as a new single shared by the band called ‘Shovel’.Drawing subtle nods to music icons like Kate Bush and Nick Cave, the song also comes alongside a new music video which was filmed in one take and directed by Tyler Kalberg and Deep Sea Diver.“‘Shovel’ is one of the most angular and dualistic songs I’ve written, and I wanted to do a one-shot video that captured the grit, rawness, and intensity of the song,” said primary songwriter and guitar player Jessica Dobson. “Simply put, it is me digging and dancing with a shovel in the middle of the night, desperately looking for beauty in dark places.”It has also drawn inspiration from esteemed filmmakers like David Lynch and the Cohen brothers.
