Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Deep Purple, Goo Goo Dolls to Headline Inaugural Edition of India’s Bandland Festival (EXCLUSIVE)

Naman Ramachandran Rock bands Deep Purple and Goo Goo Dolls will headline the inaugural edition of Bandland, a new Indian music festival.

Acts at the event also include American indie rockers The War on Drugs and Amyl and The Sniffers from Australia. Indian acts performing at Bandland include Parikrama, Thermal and a Quarter, both of who join Deep Purple for the second time in the country after their supporting act with the band in 1994 and 2001, Parvaaz, The F16s, Aswekeepsearching, Skrat, Pacifist and The Earth Below.

Bandland is promoted and produced by BookMyShow Live, the events arm of India’s leading ticketing portal BookMyShow. The event is scheduled for Dec.

16 and 17 at the Embassy International Riding School Ground, Bengaluru. Owen Roncon, chief of business – live entertainment, BookMyShow, said, “Bandland will celebrate music that has stood the test of time with legendary bands that both Indian fans and music artists here, have looked up to over the years along with new-age bands that continue the rock legacy.
