Debbie McGee, 63, set the record straight on her late husband Paul Daniels’ legendary red Ferrari.The Strictly Come Dancing star took to Twitter to respond to a fan who asked if it was true the late magician’s car’s license plate had the word “MAGIC” written on it.She initially logged onto the social media platform on Wednesday to promote her interview about the auction of her beloved husband’s magic collection.Debbie was then asked by Twitter user FIVEDIVIDE: “Is it true that Paul had a red Ferrari with the plate MAG1C ?

Xx”Debbie responded: “Yes he did,” alongside a smiley face emoji.Online user Kbootb then chimed in: “I think I also saw the MAG1C number plate on a rolls Royce in Millfield theatre car park when I saw you and Paul there.”Debbie, who was the legendary magician’s assistant, confirmed: “Yes it was fun at the time.”The TV star is now preparing to sell off her late husband's magic tricks and props which featured on his hit BBC show.She said the time has now come to pass on his collection to the next generation of magicians for an estimated £200,000.The treasured collection includes the biggest selection of magic posters to be sold in Britain, playing cards, wands and his top hat.Included is Paul's Geometrix illusion - his wife's favourite - in which she was locked inside the 6ft box while her husband skewered it with swords and geometric shapes.It is expected to fetch £12,000 alone and featured on The Paul Daniels Magic Show.Also on offer is the magician's favourite trick, called Phantom, which involved levitation and could go for £30,000.Paul, famous for his catchphrase "You'll like this..not a lot", died in 2016 at 77 and his collection has been stored at the couple's home in.
