A death row murderer made no final words and refused his last meal before his execution. Kevin Johnson, 37, was handed the death penalty for the murder of police officer William McEntee.
The incident occurred back in 2005, with the murderer targeting the policeman from Kirkwood Police Department in a revenge ploy.
Johnson alleged McEntee did not do enough to save his 12-year-old brother's life, reports the Mirror. The killer's legal team did not deny his guilt but claimed racism played a key role in the jury's decision to land him with the death penalty.
For his crimes, the 37-year-old was sentenced to death by lethal injection at Missouri state prison. However, prior to the procedure last night, Johnson's legal team made a last minute appeal on his punishment.
