A 13-year-old boy death has been found to be "unnatural" after he was was found unresponsive in the grounds of a primary school.Connor Lee Mark Slade died during the early hours of January 29 this year, an inquest heard.
Connor only lived a short distance from Melin Primary School in Neath, reports Wales Online. The inquest into his death was opened by Coroner Aled Gruffydd at the Guildhall in Swansea on Tuesday morning.Senior coroners’ officer Gareth Heatley told the hearing that friends of the family found Connor unresponsive “a short distance from his home” during the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, January 29.
Mr Heatley added that police and paramedics attended the scene but, despite their best efforts, the teenager was confirmed dead at 3.43am.A post mortem carried out at Morriston Hospital concluded that the death was “unnatural”.
