Tim Miller made some shocking revelations about his time directing the first Deadpool movie.
The writer, director and producer made his film directorial debut with the first outing in the Marvel trilogy, and recently dished on the realities of what it’s like being a first time director in Hollywood.
During an interview with Collider, Tim revealed just how much money he made on the comic book adaptation, which took him a couple of years to make. Keep reading to find out more… “You guys might not know, but it’s not really a profitable thing to be a first-time director in Hollywood, and I’ll tell you exactly,” he told the publication. “I got $225,000 to direct Deadpool.
I know it sounds like a lot of money, but for two years of work, that’s not a ton of money. Not that I’m not grateful, I’m f–king grateful, that’s the way it is because you’re supposed to when you’re a first-time director.
