If you were dating a top hairdresser, you might be forgiven for letting your own styling skills go a bit rusty. However Davina McCall has just got a crash-course in blowdrying from her boyfriend, celeb snipper Michael Douglas, and left him swoony with admiration over her efforts.

In a sweet new video, Michael is showing his girlfriend how to master the art of shiny, smooth hair, using his new, superlight mdlondon hairdryer, £195 here.

As Davina takes his advice and mists blowdry spray into her brunette locks, Michael jokes “It’s almost erotic!” before the pair crack up laughing.
