Michael Kirk Douglas (born September 25, 1944) is an American actor and producer. He has received numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, five Golden Globe Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and the AFI Life Achievement Award.
The elder son of Kirk Douglas and Diana Dill, Douglas received his Bachelor of Arts in Drama from the University of California, Santa Barbara. His early acting roles included film, stage, and television productions. Douglas first achieved prominence for his performance in the ABC police procedural television series The Streets of San Francisco, for which he received three consecutive Emmy Award nominations.
Davina McCall has gushed over her rarely-seen daughter Holly after they completed a charity run together in a bid to raise awareness of gynaecological health on Saturday.
Davina, 55, who is set to front a new Channel 4 show about the contraceptive pill, took to Instagram to share a glimpse inside her close relationship with her rarely seen 21-year-old daughter Holly as they took part in a run as part of The Lady Garden Challenge.
Posting a video montage to the platform, the TV presenter revealed that she and Holly, alongside her partner Michael Douglas, had taken part in the run to raise funds towards gynaecological cancers.
As they took part in the run, Davina was joined by Holly as they completed the track and the mother/daughter duo even managed to cross the finish line together where they embraced for a quick snap.
