Davina McCall has shared her opinion on the disastrous drama with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu after she was evicted from Celebrity Big Brother on Friday night. The Love Island winner was booted from the Big Brother house alongside Levi Roots at the weekend and the pair left the house and immediately appeared on Late & Live, to discuss their time on the ITV show. However, the programme caused controversy due to the treatment of Ekin-Su, writes The Mirror.
Layton Williams blasted Ekin-Su for 'blaming the edit' in the drama with Marisha Wallace during an awkward moment on the spin-off series.
Big Brother host AJ Odudu also questioned Ekin-Su about her comments that people at home hadn't seeing everything. Viewers were divided by the interview and now former Big Brother presenter Davina has waded in on the drama.Davina explained on virginradio.co.uk: "What you have to appreciate about people that go in there, is that Big Brother asked [them] to go in there.
So in a way, we have a duty of care to look after the people when they come out, no matter how they behave. We have to make sure that they are taken care of."She added: "At the same time, if they have done something and the general public’s feeling has been something [bad], as a presenter, you owe it to the general public to ask the questions that are being asked by the general public about their behaviour."Yesterday, Ekin-Su's co-star Levi said he believed that there was 'micro bullying' happening against her as he fiercely defended her.
