Davina McCall adds late mum's photo to her 'table of death' after troubled relationship

Davina McCall has opened up about the unique "table of death" she keeps in her bathroom, which displays pictures of her deceased loved ones.

In a candid interview, the television host and fitness expert admitted she's recently placed a photograph of her late mother, Florence, among the memorial tableau."I can now, in hindsight, appreciate that she was a pretty f*****g exciting person," Davina said to The Observer magazine. "She just wasn't a brilliant mother."She recounts several disturbing moments from her youth, such as when she would witness her mother indecently exposing herself to strangers on the streets.

At the tender age of 12, Davina first took drugs with her mother, which led to a harrowing journey through cocaine and heroin abuse.Currently appearing on the TV programme My Mum, Your Dad, Davina described her tumultuous relationship with Florence, including their brief reconciliation before her wedding to second husband Matthew Robertson in June 2000.

However, after Florence sold a story to the press alleging Davina's attendance at Narcotics Anonymous and hinting at a potential relapse, the daughter cut off all contact.
